At Park Christian Church, there is a great range of ages...and we have something for everyone! Please take a moment and see which of our services meets your needs and the needs of your family.
-Worship - 10am At our Celebration Service on Sunday mornings everyone arrives to a warm welcome and an opportunity to chat and visit in a friendly, casual atmosphere prior to services. You'll observe people dressed in a wide variety of clothing, from suits and skirts to jeans and even shorts and sandals in the summer.
When the music starts you'll find that it is contemporary and upbeat. Typically our worship band consists of a keyboard, drums, and electric, lead, and bass guitars. Periodically we even have congas, djembe, or a mandolin.
The messages are motivational, encouraging, and rooted in Scripture and practical life experience. The occasional drama, musical presentation, and videos contribute to an uplifting worship experience that will refine your focus toward God.
The Lord's Supper
At PCC, we celebrate the Lord's Supper, or communion, on a weekly basis. At the designated time during the service, trays will be passed with the bread and the cups. You may take each from the tray and hold it until you are ready to eat them, or take the bread and juice as it is passed. For believers, this is a valuable time for us to remember Jesus' sacrifice on the cross for us and to recommit to our covenant with God. If you are not a believer, we encourage you to take this time to reflect on your life and your relationship with God.
Tithes and Offerings
As believers, it is a privilege and an act of worship to honor God with our tithes (one-tenth of our income) and our offerings (gifts of love that go beyond the tenth).
We encourage our guests to enjoy the Celebration Service and to give as you feel lead to do so. Once you've decided to make PCC your church home, you are encouraged to participate in this act of worship on a regular basis. We have offering envelopes so there can be a record of your giving if you so desire.
